White Card Induction Training Course
A:

If you have previously completed the blue card course here in WA the new regulation changes have allowed for both types of WA cards issued through training providers be accepted by the regulatory authority as evidence that induction training has been completed.

A:

If you have lost your blue or white card, the first thing you must do is check who you originally did the course with. This may be done by contacting WorkSafe WA on 9327 8777, as all registered training organisations running this course must enter all participant names and corresponding card numbers into the Safetyline database.

All participants who wish to obtain a replacement card will be required to pay a $20 fee at CSTC Reception and show proof of identification. A new card with a new number will be allocated and then registered on the safetyline website.

A new card will not be processed until a request is made in writing to CSTC and payment has be received.

The new national code of practice for construction induction training, an advisory document, provides an option for repeat training if a person leaves the industry for more than two years, or, if the employer considers repeat training necessary. It maybe the case that some employers require repeat induction training, in accordance with the code, as part of safety and health management processes.
